The Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade is one of the leading educational and scientific institutions in the field of economics in the region. It was established as the Graduate School for Economy and Trade as far back as 1937 as the first higher educational centre in the field of Economics in the former Kingdom of Yugoslavia.The Faculty of Economis is one of the founders of FREN.

The World Bank is an international financial institution that provides loans to developing countries for capital programs.The World Bank’s official goal is the reduction of poverty.

Public Policy Secretariat performs professional tasks related to: analysis, identification of needs and delivery of initiatives for development of strategic documents that establish public policies; giving initiatives to improve procedures for the preparation of strategic documents setting out public policies; preparing draft strategic documents setting out public policies within the scope of authority of the state administration, as well as other duties specified by law.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN’s global development network, working in 177 countries and territories. UNDP provides technical advice and assistance for sustainable human development and supports Serbia in joining the European Union.

The Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) is an international organization that links researchers globally to enhance capacity for development policy analysis in developing countries. PEP research contributes to informing national and international debates related to economic policy, poverty, gender and sustainable development.

WIPO is the global forum for intellectual property services, policy, information and cooperation. We are a self-funding agency of the United Nations, with 188 member states. Our mission is to lead the development of a balanced and effective international intellectual property (IP) system that enables innovation and creativity for the benefit of all. Our mandate, governing bodies and procedures are set out in the WIPO Convention, which established WIPO in 1967.

The Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit (SIPRU). The SIPRU is mandated to strengthen Government capacities to develop and implement social inclusion policies based on good practices in Europe. Furthermore, the SIPRU provides support to the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration to coordinate, monitor and report on the efforts of the Government of Serbia in the field of social inclusion.

Obwohl die gesellschaftspolitischen Herausforderungen für jedes der Länder Südosteuropas ihre spezifischen Bedingungen und Merkmale haben, stehen alle Länder der Region vor der Notwendigkeit, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft zu transformieren und eine funktionierende Marktwirtschaft und Demokratie zu entwickeln. Alle Länder der Region wollen außerdem Mitglied der Europäischen Union werden und müssen ihre Institutionen an den EU-Standards und Normen ausrichten.

The National Bank of Serbia is independent and autonomous in fulfilling its functions stipulated by the Law on the National Bank of Serbia and other legislation, and is accountable for its work to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.The primary objective of the National Bank of Serbia is to achieve and maintain price stability. Without prejudice to its primary objective, the National Bank of Serbia also contributes to the safeguarding and strengthening of the stability of the financial system.

The Fiscal Council is an independent State agency responsible to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. The mission of the Fiscal Council is to assess the credibility of fiscal policy in regard to compliance with established fiscal policies and to provide the public and accountability in the conduct of fiscal policy.

The South European Center for Contemporary Finance (SECCF) is a regional educational organization headquartered in Belgrade, Serbia with an office in Zagreb, Croatia. It was founded in 2002 with the mission to provide Western-style training in finance and related fields of business in the region of South Eastern Europe.

The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

The Ministry of Finance performs public administration tasks related to: the state budget; determining of consolidated balance of public revenue and public spending; system and policy of taxes, tariffs and other public revenue; public expenditure policy; management of available public funds of the Republic of Serbia; public debt and financial assets of the Republic of Serbia.

LSEE – Research on South Eastern Europe is a research unit based at the European Institute of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Bringing together and further developing the School’s expertise on South Eastern Europe, LSEE provides a significant platform for high quality, independent research, across three broad streams of Social policy, regional policy and labour markets; European integration, macroeconomic policy and institutional reform; and International relations, minorities, security and state-building.

The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs performs state administration relating to: system in the field of labor relations and labor rights in all forms of labor except in state authorities, local self-governments and autonomous provinces, public agencies and public services; safety and health at work; inspection in the area of labor relations and health and safety at work; trade unions; strikes; etc.

The University American College Skopje is an institution for higher education that combines the best of American and European educational experiences. Founded in 2005 as one of the few private and independent universities in the Republic of Macedonia.

Open Society Foundation is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization that develops and supports projects and activities aimed at the development of a democratic culture, openness, respect for diversity, full respect for human rights for all, promotion of the rule of law, good governance and accountability, citizens participation in public affairs, etc., in order to create conditions for the sustainable development of democratic and open society in Serbia.

European Policy Centre is a non-governmental, non-profit, independent think-tank, founded in 2011 by a group of professionals in the area of EU law, EU affairs, economics and public administration reform, with a shared vision of changing the policy making environment in Serbia for the better – by rendering it more evidence based, more open and inclusive and more substantially EU accession driven.

Albanian Centre for Social-Economic Research is a Research Centre from Elbasan, Albania, established in September 2008.
