FREN, in cooperation with the American University College – School of Business Economics and Management in Skopje received financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation for the project “Gender pay gap in the Western Balkan countries: Evidence from Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia.” It is a great success, achieved in the competition of as many as140 project proposals.
The project objective is to determine the prevalence and characteristics of the gap in earnings that make the male and female in the Western Balkans (Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia).
The study of gender differences in earnings will be carried out taking into account large number of factors: the level of education, labor market status, condition before and after privatization, the state of public and private sectors, with special emphasis on marginalized groups.
