Social Enterprises in Serbia – path to employment of less employable and addressing important social issues

Belgrade, April 20, 2017 - Social enterprises, in addition to achieving their economic function, through the sale of products and services on the market, have an important social role - to contribute to solving social issues, stated participants at the FREN conference organized on April 19, 2017, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran And Social Affairs Zoran Lalic; members of the Working Group for drafting the Law on social entrepreneurship, representatives of social enterprises, the National Employment Service, banking and civil society organizations. The conference was organized to enable the dialogue between all the stakeholders from the public, private and civil sectors, and to find joint solutions for the development of social entrepreneurship, in line with the specifics of Serbia.
