European Employment Policy Observatory

FREN is subcontracted by ICF Consulting Ltd. from England on the European Commission project „European Employment Policy Observatory“. European Employment Observatory is a project that monitors on a quarterly bases the labour market trends in all EU member countries, as well as in four countries that are in the process of joining EU – Turkey, Macedonia, Iceland and Serbia. Including Serbia in this group of countries is not only a professional but also a political achievement of FREN, because Serbia is the only country that didn’t have the status of a candidate for membership at the time it was included in the project. The work on this project consists of writing a report every three months on labour market trends viewed from an independent expert perspective, submitting a report every six months on special topics related to the labour market and employment, as well as preparing occasionally special reports that are requested ad-hoc by the representatives of the European Commission. These reports are available on the website http://www.eu-employment-observatory.net.
